Videa: AI Video Maker, Effects

AI video creation for quick visual projects

Videa: AI Video Maker, Effects is an Art & Design app for turning photos and ideas into short videos with AI-assisted effects. It suits social media users, casual creators, and anyone who wants animated results without working through a full desktop editing suite. The app is published by PURE APPS and has more than 1,000,000 installs on Android.

Effects built around photos and prompts

The app includes templates and tools for creating AI hug and kiss clips, dancing videos, and superhero-style transformations. These options animate still images or place subjects into themed visual scenarios. A text-to-video feature is also available for users who want to start with a written idea rather than existing footage.

Simple editing with artistic styles

Videa focuses on ready-made effects and visual styles instead of detailed timeline editing. Artistic filters can change the look of a clip, while the template-based workflow helps users move from selecting an image or concept to generating a finished video with fewer manual adjustments. It is better suited to short, stylized content than to complex multi-track production.

What users think

Videa holds a rating of approximately 4.3 out of 5 from more than 34,000 reviews. That feedback and its install count indicate broad interest in accessible AI video effects. Users looking for quick transformations, animated portraits, or prompt-led video experiments may find its approach a practical fit, while editors who need precise cuts, layers, and audio controls may prefer a more traditional video editor.
