craigslist

Local classifieds in one app

craigslist is a local listings app for buying and selling items, finding housing and jobs, hiring services, and browsing community posts. It suits people who prefer direct contact with local sellers, landlords, employers, and service providers rather than a shopping feed built around a single product type.

What you can search

The app brings Craigslist’s broad range of categories to Android. You can look for used cars, furniture, electronics, apartments, room rentals, employment, gigs, repair work, and other local offers. Location-based browsing helps narrow results to a nearby city or area, which is useful when distance, travel time, or pickup arrangements matter.

• Search across several local listing categories
• Save searches and favorite listings for later
• Use map views to judge locations and plan visits
• Contact posters through Craigslist’s email relay

Simple, information-first experience

craigslist uses a straightforward interface that puts category lists, search tools, and posting details ahead of visual browsing. That makes it quick to reach a specific type of listing and compare practical information, although the design is less polished and less discovery-focused than many newer marketplace apps. The service works best when you already know what you need and which local area to search.

Ratings and availability

Published by craigslist.org, the app is listed in the Shopping category and has a 4.67 rating from more than 255,000 reviews. With 10,000,000+ installs, it remains a widely used option for local classifieds, especially for users who want access to multiple kinds of listings from one place.
