Josh - Live Calls & Chat

Social video and live conversations

Josh - Live Calls & Chat is a social app for watching short videos, joining live audio conversations, and meeting creators or other users. It is aimed mainly at people who enjoy Indian-language entertainment and casual online interaction. The app combines a swipeable video feed with live social features, so it suits both viewers who want quick content and users looking for more direct conversations.

Content in regional languages

The short-video section covers formats such as comedy, dance, DIY and other creator-led clips. Support for 12 Indian languages helps users find content that matches the language they speak and the communities they follow. Alongside video, Josh includes audio stories, with fictional material spanning genres such as romance and thriller for listening rather than watching.

Live audio and participation

DreamCall provides one-to-one audio conversations with broadcasters, while live audio spaces offer a more open way to interact with creators and audiences. Games and virtual gifting add interactive elements to the social experience. These features make Josh more than a passive video feed, although users should use sensible privacy and safety precautions when communicating with people they do not know.

Scale and overall profile

Josh - Live Calls & Chat is listed in the Social category and is developed by Josh Team. It has a 4.17 rating from about 984,970 reviews and has passed 100,000,000 installs. The large mix of video, audio, stories and social tools may feel busy at first, but the app is a broad choice for users who want regional entertainment and creator interaction in one place.
