International news from Deutsche Welle

DW - Breaking World News is a news app for readers who want international reporting, current affairs and analysis from Deutsche Welle. It suits people who follow world events across borders, including travelers, expatriates and users who prefer news in a language other than their primary one. The app is listed in the News & Magazines category and has more than 1,000,000 installs.

Articles, audio and video

The app brings together written stories, audio reports and video coverage in one place. Its subject range includes major political, economic and scientific developments, along with areas such as culture. Users can browse general news while also exploring topics that match their interests, rather than relying only on a single headline feed.

Language and breaking updates

DW provides access to news in 32 languages, making the service useful for multilingual households and readers following events from outside their home country. Push notifications can alert users to important developments as they happen. The app also focuses on a clean reading experience without advertisements and pop-ups, which keeps the emphasis on the reports themselves.

What users should know

The international focus is a strength for global coverage, but users looking mainly for detailed local reporting may need a regional news source as well. The app currently holds a 3.67 rating from 25,153 reviews, giving prospective users a broad indication of how the service has been received. For readers seeking Deutsche Welle’s multilingual reporting in a mobile format, it offers text, audio and video coverage under the developer name Deutsche Welle.
