GIPHY: GIFs, Stickers & Clips

GIFs, stickers and short clips for messaging

GIPHY: GIFs, Stickers & Clips helps you find and share animated GIFs, stickers and short video clips. It suits anyone who prefers visual replies to plain text, from quick reactions in private chats to posts shared through social apps. The app is developed by Giphy, Inc. and is listed in the Video Players & Editors category.

Search and discover visual content

Search is the main focus. You can look up reactions, characters, moods, events and other subjects, then browse results that match the conversation or post you are preparing. Alongside looping GIFs and stickers, GIPHY includes clips with sound, giving you a short-form video option when a silent animation is not enough. Trending and organised content can also help when you do not have a specific search in mind.

Create and share your own content

The app also provides tools for making personal GIFs and stickers. You can use the camera, add animated text and apply face effects before sharing the result. Its sharing options are designed for common messaging and social platforms, while keyboard integration can make it possible to search for visual content without repeatedly switching between apps.

What the listing indicates

GIPHY has more than 50,000,000 installs and a rating of about 3.83 out of 5 from 230,467 reviews. Those figures point to a widely used catalogue for visual messaging, although the rating suggests user experiences are mixed. It is a practical choice if you regularly need searchable reactions, stickers or short clips in conversations.
